The Backyard And Beyond builds garages with a gambrel style roof called Lofted Garages. Resembling a barn, the Lofted Garage will can give you a workspace or storage, as well as a place to store your car. Because the gambrel style roof opens up the overhead space, you can have extra room for storage overhead!
Our Standard Garage is built with a basic gable roof. Our garages are perfect for storing and maintaining vehicles, ATVs, garden equipment, or machinery at your convenience. Our 3D Builder is a tool that we offer free of charge so that you can visualize the type of building that you need! Whether you know exactly what you want or just began checking out garage designs, using our 3D Builder is beneficial to see what the building will be like.
This tool is designed for you to add or remove any of the features that you want, including doors, windows, or ramps, as well as change the colors of trim, roof, or siding. All of our prefab garages come with a durable metal panel roof. Our metal garages come with the same tough metal siding that has a 40 year manufacturers guarantee. The metal panels make the already well-built shed even more durable. If you want something that will last for a long time, our 12×16 Metal Garages are the way to go!
12 x 16 Wood Garages
If you prefer a wood sided garage, we also offer a Wood Garage that has wooden siding instead of metal. For the siding, we use LP SmartSide, a durable wood product that is rot resistant. Not only does this come in 15+ colors, you can also paint your garage any color that you want if you get tired of the color that it is!

12 x 16 Garage Insulation
Looking for a more controlled environment? Adding insulation to your building brings a level of comfort, keeping the temperature down in the summertime and making it easier to heat in the wintertime. We have several insulation options available. Insulate your walls and ceilings with R-13 Fiberglass insulation, closed cell spray foam, or Low-E insulation. 12 x 16 Garage Electrical
Need a light and a few electrical outlets? Our electrical package can give many extra options as you work by adding electrical capabilities to your prefab garage. With lights, you do not need the sun to see what you are doing, and outlets will allow you to run electric tools and use battery chargers. Adding an electrical package to your new garage will be a decision you won’t regret!
12 x 16 Garage Plumbing

All of our backyard garages come with a garage roll-door included, as well as a man-door for easy access. The roll-door allows you to pull your vehicle or equipment into the shed with plenty of room.
